Workforce 845. I can print using my wireless network, but cannot scan. When I attempt to use the scan function, my computer is identified in the printer's screen, but the document does not advance and I get a notice that there is a communication problem with my computer. Please advise corrective measures.

What version of windows or mac is on the computer? Have you tried starting the scan from the computer?

Click the Windows icon, click All Programs, and then click Windows Fax and Scan.
Click New Scan.
Make any desired setting changes, and then click Scan.
To save the scan click on file and then on save as.

When I highlighted "Scan" , I got a response that "no scanner detected"

Please install the scanner driver from under drivers here:
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?oid=184583&infoType=Downloads&platform=OSF_W_7-64
Then test the same steps again.
