Customer Question

I have a brother MFC 9970. When I insert a document in the top feeder of the printer to scan in, the feeder pulls in the paper, BUT for some odd reason, while the paper goes inside normal and comes out from the other side, but the document will turn "upward" back into the feeder and get jammed. I hope this makes sense. How do I stop this?

Hi there,
This problem can be caused by either a stuck piece of paper in the feeder, or a fault with the feeder mechanism.
Check for any stuck pieces of paper in the feeder first. If nothing is found, then it will require a service.
