What happens when you try to open MP Navigator, do you get an error message?

Cannot open program, MP Navigator EX 4.0, for Canon MP 280 printer using Windows 7.

Already Tried:
Tried uninstall MP Navigator EX 4.0 and re-installing it.

Do you have an antivirus program you use on the computer like Norton, McAfee, or other (please specify)?

Are you reinstalling MP navigator from the cd or from online?

I have Norton on my computer. I tried re-installing MP Navigator from a CD.

Uninstall MP Navigator again, then download the newest version from this link, click here (it's the green download button on that page)

Then, temporarily disable Norton, and reinstall MP Navigator, and let me know how that works out.

I disabled Norton and reinstalled MP Navigator. It still will not open.

This issue started Jan. 7 the first time I tried to open MP Navigator.

Click the Window start button > In the box, type user accounts > Press enter on the keyboard

On the window that comes up, click the Manage another account link > Finally click the Create a new account link > Create a new admin account called test

Log off your current account, then log into this test account and try your Navigator program there, does it open?

I did what you suggested, but the program would not open in the test account either.

Ok, please log off the test account and back on to the original one.

Restart the computer and start tapping F8 on the keyboard immediately, then a boot menu will come up, on that page pick Safe mode with networking.

Log into your account, it will show a black desktop background and say safe mode in all 4 corners of the screen so you know you're in safe mode, now try to open MP Navigator and see if it opens up.
