I have a Kodak ESP Office 6150 printer and always change preferences

Customer Question

I have a Kodak ESP Office 6150 printer and always change preferences to black and white only so I don't use colored ink, but it goes down real quick and computer won't print until color ink replaced.
Can I overide somehow and just print black and white??

Hi. I am Rick. I will be your expert.

I understand exactly what you mean and I wish I could tell you yes, but, unfortunately you cannot do it. The ink cartridges have a chip that tells the printer when it is low and until it is changed it will not work. They make these things so you cannot get around that. How else can they get your money.
