Hello. I’ve worked at a dealership for 31 years and I prefer to use OEM parts. They are designed and engineered specifically for your vehicle. But if aftermarket is available it would be your choice. If your looking to maintain the integrity and value of your vehicle I would stick with oem. What type of aftermarket parts are you considering?

new cat converter is 1800.00
manifold is 300.00plus labor
any other options?
Porsche Mechanic: TIM, SERVICE MANAGER replied 4 months ago
I realize it is quite expensive but I would go OEM There are companies that make “performance “ exhaust that you could use that would be of less cost and perform equally. If your looking to repair with least expense then that would be the route to go.
