Hi,

This is a problem with the Cayennes.

Pull the parking brake release while you either use your other hand or your foot to pull up on the parking brake pedal. It will take a couple of tries but will release.

Let your friend know about this and that it is a known issue with the Cayenne. It is due to sticking cylinder on the parking brake assembly and runs around $250 to repair it.

If for any reason, you can't rate my answer OKAY, GOOD, or EXCELLENT/3 STARS OR HIGHER today. Please reply and let me know why, so I can help more/better. All follow up responses are FREE, after completing the required rating
