i just changed the light bulb for my brake light on my '04 Cayenne and the brake light still isn't working
JA: Does the third light work?
Customer: Yes it does
JA: Are you fixing your Cayenne yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, I'm fixing it myself. I only tried replacing the brake light bulb so far
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi. The fuse box has built-in circuit protection. Many times when the bulb blows, it sends a spike in voltage and the fuse box goes into circuit protection mode. If you have a scan tool you can reset the fuse box. But most of the time, just disconnecting and reconnecting the negative battery cable will also reset the module. I would try that first. Otherwise, if that doesnt work you may be looking into a wiring problem or bulb socket issue.
