My window glass comes out of the regulator rail, does it need

Customer Question

My window glass comes out of the regulator rail, does it need to be glued into the rubber gasket? I put a new gasket in already.

usually there's no need for glue

the metal part of the window rail should be curved in at the top and so when the rubber gasket is seated in place by the glass the sides of the gasket grip the glass firmly

if its not doing this then I'd gently tweak / bend the top of the metal rail in so the rubber gasket will offer more grip
