My salt machine does not work and the red light says no flow
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: Just noticed now and have not been able to use pool. Have a kids party tomorrow
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes unless it is technical

Hi Sonia,

This does sound like a hardware fault, no flow suggests there is insufficient water being detected going through the machine.

Can you clarify if the salt machine is a water softener or a chlorinator.

In terms of what is causing the low flow the two most common causes are a faulty pump which is providing poor pressure\flow rate or a fault sensor in the unit which isn't detecting the flow rate correctly.
