I went to take a dip this morning and there is no power in

Customer Question

I went to take a dip this morning and there is no power in the unit. All my breakers in the panel are ok but when I trip the breaker it trips but stays in the middle when I take my hand off it.would this be the problem or is there something else I should be doing. Thanks
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?
Customer: Filter needs to be replaced I noticed this the other day
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If I can
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No that's about it

My name is Billy.

This is a sign of a dead short. It could be a wiring or circ pump issue.

Unfortunately in this venue I can only direct so much...but this is a critical failure and should be addressed as soon as possible.

A dead short to ground with water based appliances must be thoroughly checked.

If you choose to troubleshoot yourself let me know and if you have a meter that can measure resistance
