Customer Question

My Zodiac Vortex 3 unit would not start. I inspected the four (4) pin cable and noticed that one of the three (3) wires RED had come out of the insert plug. The small screw had come out and is missing. In trying to reattach it, the other two (2) wires, black and brown came out. Now I am not sure which wire goes in what hole. There are four (4) holes marked 1, 2, 3, and other. Can you tell me which color goes in which hole?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?
Customer: The water temperature is fine. The filters have been cleaned. The problem is a lose wire on the floating blue cable.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If it is a matter of a simple screw to tightened the connection yes. Otherwise I will have to take it to an authorized service center.
JA: Anything else you want the pool technician to know before I connect you?
Customer: please connect me.
