Customer Question

Was in the process of resetting the digital timer on my Hayward 26115VSP pump. Error message came up "Check System Drive Overload". Have tried:
pushing start/resume button
turning off power to the pump
disconnecting wires to the control panel and
removing the backup battery in the control panel
and making sure the shaft turned freely with an allen wrench in the back of the motor.
The error message returned after replacing battery and reconnecting the wires.
Please help! Thanks!

While experimenting, found holding "menu" and "Start/resume" at same time causes control panel to re-initialize. But as soon as it begins to go to normal mode, the "check system" light goes on and the error message appears. No sound ever comes from the pump itself...i.e, it isn't like the motor begins to power and then switches never starts at all.

I plan to call Hayward on Monday about a warranty replacement for the defective part(s), so I am no longer looking for an answer.
