Hi there, I’m Cole. I see you’re asking about spas – I think I can help you, as I have over 10 years of experience in this area and glad to help.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thanks. One zone works great and the other does nothing and only one pump is running. I can spin the shaft of the 2nd motor so I assume it isn't seized up.
Expert:  Cole replied 1 year ago.

Does the motor that does not work make a humming sound?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. I put my hand on it and feel nothing but yet the pump looks new
Expert:  Cole replied 1 year ago.

Do you have access to a voltage tester or multi-meter?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I do but I would have to remove the motor to get to where the cord goes into the housing. There are two small boxes screwed to it, would there be a way to test power by taking one of those off? I can send you a picture if you want
Expert:  Cole replied 1 year ago.

Can you trace this power back to the main control box/pack?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is a large silver box that the wires come out of and then go to the pumps so yeah I should be able to check there
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Will a normal volt meter go up to 240 volts? I'm no electrician lol
Expert:  Cole replied 1 year ago.

Use extreme caution please. If you can see if you have the correct voltage running to the pump than we can start there. do you know if the pump are 220? If not look at the label ( use mirror or phone to snap photo so you can read it)

Is your meter digital or analog? if analog they usually say on them how high of voltage. or is this just a light meter?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Will I be able to get back to you tomorrow? I'm not at home right now. I'd the spa is a 220 volt power supply would each pump be 110?
Expert:  Cole replied 1 year ago.

Not necessarily make sure and check. if you have access to a multi-meter i highly suggest it. I will gladly be waiting to help you get your tub up and running as soon as you need my assistance :)
