I will be happy to help

Red coming out of thermostat will go to the high limit

Black coming out of thermostat will go to your hot power supply wire

Black from pilot and black from heater will go to other side of high limit

Red from pilot and white from heater will go to your NEUTRAL power wire

Power ground will go to ground lug

I will attach a drawing

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ok
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Let me ask you one thing, Are you wiring 120v or 240 v?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I have to check
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

OK I have 2 different diagrams . Check between the two power leads and see if we have 240 volts or 120 volts (Between wires, not to ground)

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Here is the electrical plans. It is for the Baptistery Heater.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

OK based on this it appears the baptistery heater is 240 volts fed by a 2 pole 30 amp breaker .So we want to use the 240v wiring .See diagram below

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Can you show me that on the picture that I sent. The diagram looks different than the actual heater.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

I have drawn a wire from each of the unit wires to the diagram. The limit wires are external from the heater

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I'm going to connect it and then send a picture before I turn the power on. I hooked the last heater up wrong and it worked for hours and then when I turned the thermostat down it burned up.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

That concerns me. It may be better for you to call a tech in to connect this rather than risk burning up another heater

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I can see why. I just connected all of the red wires together and the black wires together and the ground.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

If you want to try, but I can not be responsible of course.I am here just to guide you but we do not accept any responsibility for your equipment.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I understand that. I think I see what I did wrong.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Let me know how it goes

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
ok
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Hopefully all will work properly

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I will send a picture before I power it up. I know that you aren't responsible, I just want to know if it looks correct.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Sounds good

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I don't understand where the part of the heater is at that where the power supply hooks to.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Can you attach photos of the unit the heater mounts in?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
are you talking about the round part that the control box is attached to?
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Find the power wires coming into the unit where you took old one loose

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
that part is not actually there?
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Send a photo of the wires coming in from breaker and where it mounts.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ok. I think I see now. I have a disconnect box where the wires are running to from the breaker box. Is that what that is a picture of?
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

I have to leave for the evening. It us 10:30 here. I am going to open to other experts so you do not have to wait.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I can wait until tomorrow. I am not going to work on it until then.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Send me the picture of the baptistry wiring

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
This is the wiring
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

How about at the heater?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Are you talking about something different than I've already sent. I haven't connected it yet
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

OK. The disconnect is fine. When you get it wired send me a pic

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Ok
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

Thanks

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
This is the wiring on the heater.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

That looks correct to me. You do not have a contactor ,but looks like it should work.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Was I suppose to add wires to the hi limit button. That's what I did.
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.

I see those. Looks good to me

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
ok
Expert:  airheatman replied 11 months ago.
