I've recently purchased a used Coast Spa hot tub, I saw it

I've recently purchased a used Coast Spa hot tub, I saw it working at the place I bought it from so I know it was functioning. We have installed it at our home and now we seem to be having difficulty with the temperature control. It gets hotter and hotter and won't respond to having it turned down. we've noticed that there is a blinking red light on the indicator for heat setting
Any suggestions/ or ideas about what is going on?
