Customer Question

I have a Hayward chlorine salt generator. I replaced the current limiter since it was obviously cracked. Now, it does generate chlorine, but the salt level indicator is way low. I have tried the "recalibrate" process by turning it off, turning it back on and waiting for the click, then pushing the diagnostic button five times.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: for about a week, the calcium, and chlorine levels are fine as is the salt level as tested by a pool company.
JA: Who manufactured the pool?
Customer: It is an in ground pool built by Premier Pools in Sacramento.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No, but I have at times succeeded in catching the scrolled salt level during re-calibration (it does not always scroll), but the next day back to a low reading and flashing check salt light...grrrr
