Booster pump question: purchased a new Hayward 6060 booster

Customer Question

booster pump question: purchased a new Hayward 6060 booster pump it is wired correctly, but when turned on it flips the breaker after about 12 seconds. Had to put new pvc piping to connect it but the guy put in 4 elbows. would the elbows cause to much additional pressure and cause this or do you think I have a bad pump. we have checked the breaker switch it is fine. ????
