Hi Billy, yep could use the help troubleshooting this unit. It is a Pentax MiniMax NT 400K BTU/hr. And it is not lighting but seems to be doing all other steps in the process except that. Can hear fan kick on and gas begins to flow but there is no ignition. We were told that the unit needed replaced but I suspect that the problem is simpler than a whole replacement. Can you offer a few troubleshooting pointers. I have the tools to do pretty much anything I need and a multi-meter if I need to test out a problem. Thanks, david I don't know if my address is in the system but it is***@******.*** I did pay $15.00 but you are correct I haven't heard anything back yet. thanks for the help.

Thank you.

Do you see the spark plug looking cable that runs to the burner area from the ignition control?
