I took out the circuit from my hot tub to drain it and when

I took out the circuit from my hot tub to drain it and when I tried to put it back it in alarmed. The directions say to hit the reset button which I did and then it said if it keep alarming to call an electrician to have the ground reset. What does that mean?

Expert:  Fix my Pool and Spa replied 1 year ago.

All spa power supplies have to be ground fault circuit protected, if you reset the breaker and it is still alarming then you need an electrician to test and fix the ground fault circuit. If the breaker senses any power in the ground circuit it will not reset.
