I purchased an electric pool heater outdoor above ground

Customer Question

I purchased an electric pool heater for my outdoor above ground pool.
When I received the heater I realized that this unit is made for Europe.
The spec is as follows: 220-240V 50hz, 2,800W at 20 deg Celsius IPX5
Can this be converted, or an I use a transformer to get this thing working?

since it is only a resistive load it doesnt matter.
You can supply 220-240v 60 hz with no change in operation. If it were a motor it would matter..but a resistive load doesnt know the difference.

Ok, so to confirm if I get 220-240v outlet put in, we should be good?

That is correct.
It is heater only and will work as designed.
