When I turn off my filter, my Hayward heater does not go into

Customer Question

When I turn off my filter, my Hayward heater does not go into standby. Key pad display stays on pool and the service light comes on. The heater does turn off though. According to what I read, it should just go into standby when the pump turns off. I'm getting ready to install a timer for the pump but need to clear this up first.

this could be a program feature but I do not know what model you have. Can you supply more info using the reply button?
