Customer Question

I 've just opened the pool today and the pump seems to have air bubbles returning back to the pool. The pool needs a vacc.but the suction isn't enough to clear the leaves from the bottom as it did in pervious years. The pressure gauge on top of the system seem to be going between 10 & 20.The clear strainer basket isn't filling to the top like it used to.

A clogged filter intake or dirty filter can cause this problem.
Other causes are air in the line which can clear
as the unit operates.
If there is a leak either air or water it will not clear.
A leak will have to be found and repaired.
Water may be present or a slight suction sound.
This may take a professional to locate.
