Hello,

Thank you for your patience. Your hot tub will not operate properly without the circ. pump working. If disconnecting it stops the breaker from tripping, then the circ. pump is bad and must be replaced.

With the circ. pump not flowing, you are going to get the FLO error because the flow switch is still open.

The SN1 code could be the new water is just a little too cold.

To resolve your issue, replace the circ. pump and the tub should function again.

I appears that is the case. When you learned that unplugging the circ. pump stopped the breaker from tripping, why didn't replace the pump at that point? Was there an issue with FLO before the breaker tripping? If not:

Just replace the bad circ. pump and all should be okay. Part #SUN6000-125

Hello again,

Hmmmm...are you sure the new pump is flowing properly? If you look inside the flow switch, do you see water movement? Is the swing arm on the flow switch making contact with the post inside the clear TEE? Did you install the new flow switch in the right direction?

SN1 is a sensor problem. I was hoping it was just cold water from the refill. After you have verified that the circ pump is flowing, please try this:

Turn off the power
Unplug the sensor harness(plug) from the circuit board. (harness has both sensors and pressure switch wires)
Check for any loose wires in the harness and plug it back in.
Turn the power back on.

The circulation pump is the small pump that flows water through the heater and past the flow switch. If this does not flow properly, nothing will work correctly on a Sundance.

The circ. pump must be flowing. Is there some reason why the new pump is not working? Is it the same voltage and style as the original pump? When you removed the intake on the circ. pump, water should be pouring out that tube, not just the pump.

You have replaced the circ. pump and the flow switch, I don't know how else to explain the water flow from the circ. pump, through the heater, and past the flow switch.

It may be time to call a Sundance/Jacuzzi dealer for some service. I will try to troubleshoot with you, but until you have the circ. pump pumping water through the heater, there is nothing else I can do to help you without being there in person.

Standing by.Try turning the power off. Remove the intake(suction) tube from the circ. pump and let water pour out the tube for a second and quickly place it back on the pump and clamp it down. Now turn the power back on and watch the flow switch for water movement.

Double check to be sure your new pump is the same voltage as the old pump.

If you have a test meter and know how to check voltage, I can have you check some readings.

I do not know what the issue is now. The new pump should have solved the problem. If it was tripping the breaker, then there was power to the circ. pump (no bad fuse) or it would not have tripped. The Sn1 and FL errors may be preventing the equipment to operate.

It may be time to call a Sundance/Jacuzzi dealer for some service. You have some things going on, I cannot be there in person and we are about at that point where we have exhausted any help I can provide online.

If you have a test meter, turn off the power and pull all fuses out one at a time and check them for continuity. Check at the terminal block for 240v across line1 and line2. Check for voltage at the circ. pump connection. There should be 240v across both wires there as well.

There are 50hz and 60hz. 50hz is used overseas and here in the US we use 60hz for our power. I do not know what 70hz is?

Hello again,

The sn1 error is preventing the heater from coming on. Sn1 error is also hi-limit sensor related, open sensor. Double check the sensor harness and make sure you have all the sensor wires in their correct location. That is the 14 pin plug where the flow switch, temp. sensor, and hi limit sensor wired.

There are 2 styles of wire ends for that sensor, perhaps you have used a "finger end" connector instead of a "boxed end" connector. If you spiced the wire, no difference. The correct sensor for your model is 6600-168 boxed end.

If the water is very cold, and you have checked the wire connections and they are good, hold the hi limit sensor in your hand a warm it a little and try to power it up again. There is a problem with the sensor or the circuit board.
