Hello there, I am Cam.

I am Licensed technician at a GM dealership with more than 16 years experience.
Like you, I am a user of this website and as such, any billing questions should be sent to customer service.

I ask that you please provide details and communicate with me so we can make your experience here worth 5 stars! I am around most days but not every minute of every day. If you reply while I am offline, I will respond when I am next online.

I am reviewing your request and will post in a moment.

What symptoms aside from what you see on the scanner do you have as an issue?

What you are mentioning does sound normal. Short term fuel trims respond fast and long term make up for wear and such in the engine. 7% is not bad. ITs well within spec and expected with an older vehicle.

Replaces fuel pump pressure below spec, found crankshaft sensor harness melted together spice it and replaced sensor, any idea

Putting aside the numbers at the moment, what symptoms do you have when you drive?

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 5 months ago
Once it heats up it dies when coming to a stop, it starts up but with throttle

Ok, Those numbers you mentioned are in the normal range, so to die as you come to a stop, that suggests a throttle issue, transmission issue or some wiring is moving on decal that is causing it to die.

So if you wiggle wiring around while the engine is running, do you get a similar reaction?
Does it still stall if you pop it into N as you are slowing down?

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 5 months ago
Already did wiggle test nothing, will check to see if it dies in N, if not does that mean trans sensor, will get back this afternoon or tomorrow

Thinking perhaps the torque converter staying locked up.

Let me know how it goes.
