When I start the...

When I start the car and put into drive the door locks should automatically lock and unlock when you turn off the car and put in it in park. This quit working, do you know why?

Yes it just started. You can lock and unlock the doors by the remote or by the switch on the door, but the locks do not work when you stop or start the car

V6 G6 2007

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your G6 yourself? What have you tried so far?

I disconnected the battery and then reconnected it. I looked at the computer read out on the dash that says power locks are all on

This feater was accidentally turned off in the driver information center settings or the body control module is faulty. Can you go through the DIC settings to try and turn this feature back on.
