Customer Question
My 2005 Pontiac g6...

My 2005 Pontiac g6 heater fan works interttantly. a good bump in the road or sometimes a bang on the dash will get it working.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?

No leaking and coolant level is normal.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your G6 yourself? What have you tried so far?

I am trying to look at it myself, looking for any loose wire, I have fuse panal off but see nothing loose.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

No, not at this time.

Hello I will help,

If you cannot wiggle the resistor and fan motor connections and the blower switch on the dash to duplicate the problem it is the blower motor that needs replacement. Its bearings are worn and that causes the intermittent connection inside the motor.

Please let me know if you have further questions, if nothing further please complete the rating

Thanks
