I have an early 94 Pontiac Firebird trans am,5.7 litre

Customer Question

I have an early 94 Pontiac Firebird trans am,5.7 litre engine. Im actually going bonkers for this beautiful car starts up great when engine is cold, ie, overnight. Also it starts up fine after engine is off for ie, 25 minutes, BUT, IF CAR SITS COLD FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES TO THE 1.5 HOUR MARK, IT KEEPS TRYING TO DESPERATELY START FOR AT LEAST 8 - 10 SECONDS, THEN IT FINALLY CATCHES AND FIRES UP. " so embarrassing in public, they see my muscle car taking forever to fire up"
I believe it is a bad OPTI SPARK/ CAP, ROTOR. Probably non vented. Car built in late 93, but sold as a 1994 modle. Ps.. I'm budget oriented cash wise for repairs.
