Won't start. Since I jacked car up on Fri . Had no gas . Today it sputters . I just hooked battery up . And it spins . No start
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: It wasn't a hog . It was norm til today . Now it won't start
JA: What is the model/year of your Pontiac?
Customer: 08 grAn prix base
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I cleAned throttle . Left it on car . Injector cleaner. Unhooked battery half hour . And checked fuses
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Starting problems . It happened a yr ago . And I was on empty again

It sounds as if you have no fuel pressure? If you have no fuel pressure it is either due to a bad fuel pump, a loss of power or ground to the pump, or there may not be any fuel in the tank.

Do you hear the pump run when the key is first turned on?
