i cant get the ignition interlock to release so I can take the ignition out to change the key cylinder
JA: Is the key stripped or worn?
Customer: it will not turn
JA: What is the model/year of your Pontiac?
Customer: 2000 grand am
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Am yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am fixingit myself i have everything unhook to take the ignition out...the cable will not release
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

So your key will not turn, so you cannot get it to the release position is that correct?

Never mind you took so lo g to answer I tore it out and had to buy a new ignition
