Hello my name is***** this a factory alarm system?

I may need your VIN# ***** see what system you have.

You can try this put the driver window down, close the door, Lock the door with the remote.

Wait a few sec than reach in through the window unlock the door. not by the button or remote.

Now open the door see if the lights and horn start to beep and flash.

Please get back with me.

Thank you

If it works to shut it off use the unlock button on the remote.

New battery in remote but nothing happen after trying your suggestion
Expert:  GM Bob replied 1 year ago.

Try locking the doors with the remote .

This time hit the lock twice. The horn should beep to confirm you locked it.

Now open the door like I said earlier

Sorry for not getting back with you.

Have been on the road.

So you are telling me you do not have a working remote?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have 2 remotes , both look very good
Expert:  GM Bob replied 1 year ago.

So nether remotes work?

Are these new remotes?

Have they ever worked?

Need to have the remotes tested.

Most dealers will test them for free.

When you put battery's in was the bracket broken that holds the battery?
