I am trying to get the head rests off my 2007 pontiac montana.

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'm here to assist you today. This requires a special tool, but you may be able to substitute of fabricate a tool that would work.

  1. Push the head restraint down enough to center the locking clip in the guide between the detents on the posts.
  2. Insert the J 42372 Headrest Removal Tool down the inboard sides of each post.
  3. Hold both tools down and pull the head restraint up to remove.
