Pontiac Problems? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
May I have the year, model and engine size of your Pontiac?
Ok, great. Do you happen to have access to any testing equipment? Volt meter? Test lamp? Scan-tool that can interact with the AIR system?
Ok. The concern here is, there are other items in the AIR System besides the AIR Pump that can be faulty and set the P0410 code. Those items should also be tested and checked before replacing the Pump. No sense in replacing the pump if the Relay or Solenoid is faulty. The P0410 is a "flow" problem, which means this can also be something as simply as a crack in the tube. If you're just looking to replace the AIR Pump, I can provide you with the replacement procedure in PDF format here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/00kz2zu2znh9dli/bonn-air.pdf?dl=0
