What can I do if I accidently put water in the spot I was suppose to put oil?

It's not great idea to drive it with water in the oil. How much did you put in?

I'm sorry, there was some kind of delay in the message. They both came through just now.

That's not a ton of water, but probably enough to really gum up the oil system if you drive with it in there. The oil and water will turn into a milky foam which does not lubricate very well. The engine in your G6 is machined to very close tolerances and it needs good lubrication to prevent bearing damage.

I probably wouldn't chance driving it. You could drain the water/oil out with some basic hand tools and then re-fill it with oil fairly easily. I can walk you through it if you want to try.
