Po108...po128...po300..po404...p1404..po108..po300
Pontiac Mechanic: john aka eaut, The Car Guy replied 2 years ago

po108 is a map sensor code po128 is a coolant temp sensor issue

po404 is a egr issue the 1404 is also egr

and the po300 is a random multicylinder missfire

are you going to repair yourself?

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
I plan toi
Pontiac Mechanic: john aka eaut, The Car Guy replied 2 years ago

the egr valve map sensr and coolant temp sensor are all likely failed... they are common to fail without a high end scan tool its difficult to test each component.. as for the miss fire I would check the plug wires that were just installed and the ignition coil..99 percent of miss fires are plugs wires or coil

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
I think I'm going to check the senors that screw into the exhaust
Pontiac Mechanic: john aka eaut, The Car Guy replied 2 years ago

the oxygen sensors

? why?

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
Just a feeling
Pontiac Mechanic: john aka eaut, The Car Guy replied 2 years ago

how do you plan on checking them? they have nothing to do with egr or coolant temp

Ask Your Own Pontiac Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
Well I had a Mustang that would bog out after driving it for awhile and run like shit..and it was always the sensor coming loose in the exhaust
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
I will also check the plugs and wires again
Pontiac Mechanic: john aka eaut, The Car Guy replied 2 years ago

ok I doubt its the sensor,,
