Customer Question

I took out the ignition lock in my 2003 pontiac sunfire and now the piece inside the steering column is stuck in the start position. With the ignition lock completely out when i hook up the battery the car is stuck cranking, but i cannot turn it to run or off or accrssory. Also, i cannot move it to get the new ignition lock back in place. Is this part of the passlock security system? Do I have to remove the passlock from the drivers side of the steering column?
