a YP code at the end of the engine stamp number is ***** up as a 1967 350 engine but also could be a 70's 400 or an early 60's 326

is that 030737YP the stamped number ?

since they used YP a few times can you tell me the casting code number on the block so we can be 100 % sure if this is a 350 or a 400 block ?

The YP code is a 326ci for 1967. Beginning in mid-1967, the block casting number changed location from the distributor pad to the rear of the block, just behind the #8 cylinder.

The block date code is found just to the left of the distributor hole at the back of the block.

Date Code:
The date code is cast on the distributor pad. It is a 3 or 4 digit code. The first digit will be a letter. A=January, B=Febuary, C=March, etc. Followed by a 1 or 2 digit number for the day of the month. The last digit will be the year.

I am sorry for the other experts post being confusing with wrong information as you can clearly see the YP can be a few different engine sizes

knowing the casting numbers will clear up what year and engine size this is
