my 2000 pontiac trans am keeps blowing fuse in taillights and dashlights sometimes it will take a few hours to blow its like it shorts out checked the bulb sockets in rear they look ok

check your wiring to make sure you have no exposed wires to the light you have a short some where

this doesnt help me any i allready knew i had a short i just dont know where is there any common causes (dimmerswitch) brake lts switch ect
