Both of my turn signals are out. I replaced the rear bulbs

Customer Question

Hi Dave. Both of my turn signals are out. I replaced the rear bulbs and still the blinkers don't work. Is this an electrical issue?

hi, do the front turn signals work ?

or is it just the rear turn signals ?

do the hazzards work ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The front also do not work but I believe they've run on the same circuit. Neither the hazards nor the passenger high beam work either. Low beams and tail lights work fine.

did you check any fuses ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I checked the fuses and they still look good. No apparent breaks in any fuse.
Expert:  jazzmaster replied 1 year ago.

can you check the fuses for the turn signals themselves ?

for bat voltage -both are 15 amp fuses if you have voltage then you will have to check at the body control module

I am including 2 diagrams -one showing imputs to the BCM and the other showing OUTPUTS from the BCM to the lights

the one for the outputs a re # ***** -yellow wire for the left turn signal rear

# ***** -dark green wire for the right turn signal rear

# ***** blue/white wire for the front right turn signal

# ***** -light blue/white for the front left turn signal

the imputs are red/white wires from the fuses (underhood) to the bcm these should show voltage when the key is on and the turn signal in on left or right .

I would have to say that the multifunction switch assembly is most likely the issue a s you also, don.t have hazzards as well. but you have brake lights .

if it was an issue with a flasher the lights would light up but would not flash ..jazzmaster ..

Hi Jazz. Sorry in the delay in my response. I was out of town for the holidays. I will take a look in the next day or two to see if I can make heads or tails of the schematics you sent me. Thank you for your patience. A high rating will be received.
