Customer Question

I have a 2009 G5 Pontiac that is having engine problems, I had a diagnostic done on it results: CODE #P0300, had a misfire, on #3 cylinder, did a compression test #3 cylilnder had only PSI, #1 had 170 PSI, #2 had 180, #4 had 177. They said the engine head needed to come off for further diagnosis. Estimate 1844, to diagnose, but it back together, after seeing what is wrong, plus $$$ to fix what ever. It is riding rough, can hear rattling when it is idle. It did run smooth when a full tank, no longer.
Should I spend the $$? What if I continue to drive it, would it suddenly stop. Have $2000 still on the loan should I trade it in? Help Pat
Ps you sure helped on the electrical problem, it was right on . Thanks Pat
