Pontiac G6: I own a 2007 Pontiac g6 which had a p0449, p0455

Customer Question

I own a 2007 Pontiac g6 which had a p0449, p0455 and p0420 code. I replaced the catalytic convertor. Had the same codes. I put an extender on the top o2 sensor. I got a p1133 code. I replaced the o2 sensor and removed the extender. I now have a p0420 code. Is this just a glitch that will go away

good morning my name is ***** ***** I will assist
first, take off the extender and install the O2 sensor correctly. did you use a universal O2 sensor or was it pre wired with a connector??
the other codes have nothing to do with the 420 code. that is a bad converter which you replaced. the 455 and 449 are evap codes and that is a different system. the most common failure for this is the vent solenoid.
