I have a 2005 Pontiac grand Prix gt, it didn't have a fob for the car when i bought it. went to auto zone and bought a "factory" replacement fob. It work perfect, but now i have the "key fob battery low" on my dash and it wont turn off. I brought it back to autozone thinking it was a bad battery and they replaced it but it is still on. any ideas

yes i did, and it keeps coming back every time i start my car back up.

IF you are sure the Remote is working good from apprx 30 feet & the Battery is correct Voltage, then there is a Communication Failure with the Keyless Entry Module & the Communication / BCM Module.
Use of Dealer Scan Tool is needed to Test & Program.
I know of some "Aftermarket FOBs" having the same issue, but not with Pontiac GP
