Pontiac Grand Am GT: 1989 Pontiac grand AM GT instrument panel

Customer Question

1989 Pontiac grand AM GT instrument panel will not work. No gauges, no lights. Alternator checked and good. Ground is good and fuses okay. What else could be wrong?

Fuse box is different. Its a 1989 grand prix not a grand am. no Tach-gauges oil-heat voltage -no heater fan

Dont have that wiring diagram but it sounds like it blew a fusible link wire down at the starter solenoid where the wires connect to the stud along with the battery cable.

Can you check that.
