where are the solenoids and cam sensor located? noticed there are two intake actuators and two exhaust actuators.

The 2.4L engines Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (exhaust) is located on the upper left rear of the engine, near the camshaft cover. The CMP (intake) is located on the upper front of the engine, near the camshaft cover.

This most likely will have diagram, http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/

It does appear that there is a solenoid on each bank and on each intake and exhaust camshaft.

Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid- Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake
Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid- Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake

Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid- Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust
Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid- Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust

The intake and exhaust actuator solenoids are numbers 718 and 719 in this diagram.

The camshaft sensor is 725.
