2002 pontiac grand am: parts of the ignition switch and tumblers

I have 2002 pontiac grand am and I need to know If I need to buy both parts of the ignition switch and tumblers or just the switch it self.

so your problem is the theft system will activate using the correct key ? and it will let you reset it and run but then will act up again ?

It is a regular metal key. so I am not sure what you mean by the correct key

ok.99% of the time what is wrong is the passlock sensor which is built into the ignition lock case is the problem.Napa sells a passlock sensor comes with a new outer lock case and a new tumbler ingition key set get that kit and just change the outer loack case and reuse your original centerl lock tumbler assembly.once thats replaced do the relearn and it should be fine. # 1 in this picture
