GM Tech (Cam) :

Hello, I'm Cam. Please include all the details about your issue so I can accurately advise you. I cannot see your vehicle so please be detailed.

GM Tech (Cam) :

NO, with these engines, they will go that long and long past with proper maintenance.

Customer:

nothing wrong with it now the engine is still strong it just has 163xxx miles and i was wondering if i should be worried.

Customer:

what about how many more miles do you think i could get out of it?

GM Tech (Cam) :

No, this has to be one of the BEST engines GM ever made, or at least in the top 10, so keep up on the oil chances, tune ups, keep on top of the fluid levels

GM Tech (Cam) :

I have seen these with 350000

Customer:

wow. will i have to have the tranny done . it's still the origanial

GM Tech (Cam) :

Yes, the transmission may require work, BUT that is why I say to keep up on the fluid changes and fluid leves.

GM Tech (Cam) :

Levels.

Customer:

ok thank you

GM Tech (Cam) :

the most important thing on the auto transmission is fluid level.
