Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX will post the procedure below.
Front Suspension

Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the steering knuckle.

  1. Use snap ring pliers in order to remove the wheel bearing retainer (1).
  2. Place a bearing driver collar on the inside end of the hub (6).
  3. Use a press in order to remove the hub from the wheel bearing (11). Press from the inside end of the hub toward the outside of the hub.
  4. Remove the 3 bolts (4, 5, 7) and the brake shield (3) from the knuckle.
  5. Use a press and a split plate in order to remove the bearing outside inner race from the hub.
  6. Place a bearing driver collar on the bearing outside outer race.
  7. Use a press in order to remove the bearing from the knuckle. Press from the outside of the knuckle toward the inside of the knuckle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Place a bearing driver collar on the inside outer race of a NEW wheel bearing (11).
  2. Use a press in order to install the bearing into the knuckle (2). Press from the inside of the knuckle toward the outside of the knuckle.
  3. Install the brake shield (3) to the knuckle.
Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

  1. Install the 3 bolts (4, 5, 7) that retain the brake shield to the knuckle. Tighten the bolts to 8.3 Nm (73.46 inch lbs.) .
  2. Place the outside end of the hub (6) on a press support plate. Verify the weight of the hub is on the outside end of the hub and not on the wheel studs.
  3. Place the knuckle and the bearing on the hub.
  4. Place a bearing driver collar on the bearing inside inner race.
  5. Use a press in order to install the hub to the knuckle. Press from the inside of the bearing toward the outside of the hub.
  6. Use snap ring pliers in order to install the wheel bearing retainer (1).
  7. Install the steering knuckle
