2002 Bonneville: drivers door..only work..door locks..wiring…

Customer Question
I have a 2002 Bonneville...
I have a 2002 Bonneville the problem I am having now is the only power I seem to have to the windows, door looks, and mirrors are only on the drivers door only and now I have another problem the fan blower will only work when it wants to. My question to you is doI have a bad master switch for the window door locks mirrors and a bad switch for the fan or would it be other wiring or ground issues?

No power on the green wire on the passenger front window switch...
Pontiac Mechanic: Dave Nova, Pontiac Technician replied 8 years ago
The problem is likely then in the passenger door module. The best way to tell for sure at this point is to use a scan tool to make sure the modules are communicating with one another.

Would the passenger door module pervent the back two doors from working also? As I said in the beginning the drivers door is the only door working the others don't do anything no window , no door locks.

Pontiac Mechanic: Dave Nova, Pontiac Technician replied 8 years ago
The passenger module could short out the data line to the rear doors. That is why it is best to proceed with a scan tool. This will give you more information about which modules are working and keep you from unneccessarily replacing parts.
