99 bonneville. I need the location of the blower motor resistor. please advise.
Thanks for choosing JustAnswer.
My name is Vladimir.
The blower motor resistor is located in the engine compartment under the fuse block ( near the firewall). It is secured by screws to the heater and AC module.

will this be a difficult part to get too? how much will i have to remove to gain access to this area and replace the part?
Thank you for accepting my answer.
You will need to remove the fuse panel cover and then unscrew and move some components aside to get access to the resistor. I think you can do it in an hour or less.
Do not forget do disconnect the negative battery cable at first.
You can download the removal procedure by clicking HERE ( it is a 145.08 KB .pdf file).
