We have appanently caused a non-garbage item, probably plastic, to enter our unit. I tried the clearing procedure with the tool When I restarted the unit, I heard the same clicking sound that existed when the unit was jammed
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat? And what about the unit's filters?
Customer: Did not know there was a thermostat or the unit's filters
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If possible yes, but it doesn't have to be me

issue. First I’ll need some more info so I have a more complete picture of your situation. What clearing procedure did you employ? Is this an ISE disposal and you used the offset wrench in the bottom socket? Does the grinding plate spin now?
