I have stagnant water in my front yard from recent flooding

Customer Question

I have stagnant water in my front yard from recent flooding and continual rain and I need to know how to treat it and get rid of it. My property is the lowest point in town and almost always floods.
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: I bought my house in 1993 and it flooded 3 months after I bought it. So far, it has flooded at least 4 times.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: No, I am not physically able to.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Right now the water is stagnant and stinking.

Is this going to be difficult to deal with?
